Normally, TJ isn’t a stay-put kind of person. He’s always moving and doing something besides sitting down somewhere for hours. Most of his time is usually spent doing work-related things, things with the band. He makes sure everything’s all set before they go on stage, before they head to the next city. Even when it comes to recording or writing sessions, he’s always doing something and doesn’t want to be bothered. If he is, his response is a dull ‘I’m busy’ and that’s it. So, either the band is TJ’s main priority or he’s become a workaholic. And it started when his brother was diagnosed with cancer and it all just got worse from there. His constant working was only small in the beginning. But later on, as his brother’s condition worsened, he found himself constantly on the go. TJ’s excuse for that was always ‘So, I like working, what’s the big deal?’ when it was really to distract him from his family problems. To be honest, TJ wishes he was back home in Florida, by his brother’s side and spending time with his family. But then that would cause him to be emotional and TJ can’t deal with that. So, he busies himself with the band and stays on the road, only relying on occasional phone calls from his family on what’s been going on. He’s been doing pretty well nowadays actually. And that’s because of Molly Enders. The two of them have been best friends for years, before Forever Til February got together. All five of them grew up in Florida together and yeah, they all find themselves getting a little homesick at times. But, at the end of the day, it’s all worth it because they’re doing what they love everyday. Performing in front of masses of people everyday beats sitting behind a desk in a room or any other kind of lame job like that. And being in a band with a few of his best friends? That was even better. Molly and TJ had always been close and it was obvious they liked each other in more than a friendly way. Or at least it was obvious to Jesse. TJ isn’t exactly the most ‘I know what’s going on all the time’ type of person and Molly isn’t always one to make the first move. But he didn’t find out until later. Jesse picked up on the fact that they both had a thing for each other and would never let it go. He hates the fact that Molly’s so stubborn and TJ is so oblivious, but whatever. They had everything under control now.
Yeah, Trolly is a-go. TJ had gotten up the nerve to make the first move. According to Molly, them starting to date would have happened eventually and that she was patient. But TJ didn’t want to wait anymore and told her only a few nights ago. Now, Molly has him all to herself, or at least that’s how she put it. Of course, that was perfectly okay with TJ. But now he’s starting to think that he’s been spending a little too much time with her, holed up in their bus. Whenever he’s with her, he finds himself sitting and just talking with her for a good few hours. He doesn’t mind it though as long as he’s with her, however lame that may sound but it’s true. And Molly said it as well, that it’s worth it. At the moment though, TJ was alone in the bus and he was sprawled out on his stomach in his bunk. His laptop was in front of him, the light from the screen illuminating his dark bunk. TJ was a YouTube child. He spent forever just watching random videos, ones that make him laugh, of bands that FTF are friends with, even of FTF themselves. He likes looking up sets they’ve done only the day before and seeing just how many people crowdsurfed, or just watching from a fan’s perspective. Whatever, it was just something to occupy himself with since he had done everything he had wanted to do earlier that day. You know, work. Now it was the time for him to pull a Molly, and be lazy for the rest of the night.
He brought his head up when he heard the bus door creak open. Drawing open his curtain a little bit to peer out, he didn’t see anyone. He figured it was just Jesse coming back in to grab his cell phone. He could have sworn one day that Jesse asked him to take his phone away so that he wouldn’t be tempted to answer it when stupid Kristin called or for him to call her. But when TJ had mentioned it, like, the next day, he played dumb and that he had no idea what he was talking about. Whatever, it wasn’t his problem. He had enough things on his mind that were his to worry about already. Deciding to get up and go scare Jesse into dropping his phone, he swung his legs out from his bunk and stretched since he had been laying down for so long. Walking up to the front of the bus, quietly, he looked around the corner but not finding who he expected it was. Instead, they put a smile on his face and made him get this fuzzy, tingly feeling around his stomach. Tip toeing up behind her, he reached around and placed his hands over her eyes. “Guess who?” he whispered close to her ear, trying to resist the urge to laugh. TJ really liked his guessing games, it was ridiculous. He can be very open about how he has to pee or he'll say that he's hungry. Anything really, he makes it up as he goes along, coming up with anything random or stupid. Not able to help himself, he leaned down a little to kiss the top of Molly's head. "There's a hint," he whispered, and a soft smile on his face as he stared down at her.

they'll try to, oh if only they know they'll never come close to you. On the very first day of tour, it'd been decided that Molly would see her brother every day. Long before that, actually. As soon as she'd found out that Skyline was on the list of bands, she screamed. Really. She screamed. And then she called her brother and screamed to him. And from the start of the tour, though they weren't even that far into it, she was either visiting his bus or he was in her's. She was really happy about that. More or less ecstatic, to be honest. She wasn't big on the whole fact that he'd relocated across the country. Then again, she was in a band. They were always moving or always busy, seemed like. So was he, just by chance. Nevertheless, was going to make sure she used this tour to her full advantage. Making up for a few years missed family bonding time, she'd do it. That was all she'd made plans for, to be honest. Plans in general, those were a miracle. She was just damn well determined to see her brother as much as possible. That's where she was. Or rather, just leaving. She'd spent a few hours with Tristan, talking, before she decided that it was probably time to head back to her own bus. Talking for a purpose, mind you. Molly felt just a little guilty for some reason. Maybe it was just compensation. Tristan didn't seem too keen on the happenings from the past few days. But whatever. Older brothers were older brothers. And this one couldn't control her. Persay.
Besides, TJ was harmless. She told him that. And she couldn't think of a better person for her than TJ, cheesy as that sounds. Most people tend to think that way into the first few weeks of a relationship, anyways. And then the rest of the population, friends and such, they get to sit around and suffer in their time of pure bliss. Whatever you want to call it. Molly didn't want to consider herself that way, though. She wasn't about to go gush about him to Sadie or Jasey or anyone like that. Even if she wanted to, she hadn't had the time yet. They'd only really become "an item" (a couple, a thing, what have you) a few nights ago. They weren't even some kind of lame gossip yet. Not that she knew of, anyways. She hadn't heard or seen anything. Then again, how would people (aside from bandmates and a few friends) get something from the two of them laying around? Laying around. That was, for the most part all they done so far. She was perfectly fine with that. In fact, Molly was beyond thrilled with that. She thought of it as making up for lost time's sake. Let's be honest now. Completely honest. Away from her urgent denial. Molly Sue Enders was a bit crazy for this TJ kid. She never told a soul until Jesse picked it out of her. Even that took awhile, though. Nagging, nagging, nagging until her nerves were finally worn thin. Yeah, she told him. He won. He saw right through her. She didn't think he'd actually do something about it, though. So many times that'd happened before, and she was stuck admiring the guy, whoever it was, from afar or waiting until she simply gave up and moved on. She wasn't one for making first moves, that was obvious. But, contrary to what she liked to make people believe, it wasn't that they "just weren't her thing". She wasn't into that whole traditional guy asks girl thing, but it was nice. It was the fact that, in general, relationships scared the shit out of her. She was completely clueless when it came to the whole dating situation. It was intimidating.
That was why she'd been visiting Tristan. His reaction, after she'd told him, and of course she told him, wasn't exactly reassuring. Every other relationship she'd been in, short lived and nearly pointless as they were, had popped right out of the blue. Those guys, they weren't someone she'd been pining after at all. Just out of no where, someone she'd considered a friend would ask her out. Okay, not entirely out of no where. But she swore she wasn't aware of any flirting that was going on. And, of course she'd say yes. Molly didn't have much of a heart to turn a guy down, let alone a friend. But she genuinely liked TJ. It'd help if Tristan did, too. That was all. She wasn't sure if she'd made much of an impact on him, but she thought that it was time to go. He'd gotten his time. Now she wanted to go back. She smiled as she hugged him, as she always did, and let herself out, yelling her farewells to anyone else in the bus that may or may not care (mainly Sam, if he was there) It was much nicer outside when it was dark, she realized. What, without the sun beating down and all. The night was cool, but not cold. Warm enough that she didn't need to bundle up or anything. That jersey sundress was holding out just fine for her without its namesake. Maybe she'd get used to Vegas sooner or later. But, by that time, they'd be on the move again. Not much of a use, there.
Surprisingly, the bus was dark when she reached it. Or, maybe it wasn't so surprising. It wasn't that late. The guys were probably still out. But, there was usually someone there burning up all of the electricity. Maybe that was supposed to be her job tonight. Whatever. She rolled her eyes and let out a huff as she let herself into the bus. She'd just have to deal with being alone for a few hours. Not exactly her favorite of things to do, but it'd been done before. She could handle it one more time. Inside the bus now, Molly hung her lanyard on her hook as to not lose it. It had her life, that thing. A laminate, her keys. Actually, if it somehow had her cellphone, ipod and laptop on it... then it'd be her life. But it was important nonetheless, and she'd have to put down some money to replace everything on it. So that's where it stayed. She plugged her phone into its charger, placed it far enough away from the edge of the counter so it wouldn't fall. It was then that she meant to turn and head towards the couch and turn on some lights, but she was stopped.
It didn't take much to scare Molly. She was a pretty jumpy kind of person. She usually shrieked during scary movies and screamed when someone popped out from behind a corner to scare her, followed but a slew of curse words. Not to mention little creepy crawlies like bugs. She didn't like those. And birds. She wasn't a fan of anything that flew, aside from planes. So, when her world got significantly darker and she realized that someone was covering her eyes, her first instinct was to freak. But silently. She caught her breath and held it, tensed right up and clenched her fists. A tiny burst of warm air brushed her ear. Then she was okay. Realization caught her, and she recognized that voice. Molly bit both lips, forming a tight little smile as she reached up to pull his hands away so she could turn. And, once she did, she placed them carefully around her again and immeadiately wrapped her own arms around his torso and squeezed him into a hug. She liked those. They'd discussed this once or twice. "You know I suck at these." Molly loosened her grip, peering upwards and grinning as she did so. "Besides, I'm pretty sure you missed. How could I get any idea from that?"

He really should have thought more about playing his little guessing game before he went for it. The girl was pretty jumpy and he hadn’t really put that in mind and so felt a little bad about it. He felt her tense up but then relax when she obviously realized that it was him and not some robber or something equally as bad. Letting her pull his hands away, they were replaced around her waist and TJ held her close, hugging her back. Returning the grin, he bit his lip briefly at her words. He knew what she was hinting at. Honestly, TJ was still a little shy about kissing her. He didn’t really know why. It wasn’t really him that kissed her first either. He usually would ask her or get one in some other way. It was silly, really. She was his girlfriend, his best friend. He shouldn’t feel shy about anything around her. So, bending downward a bit because he’s so damn tall, he pressed his lips against hers in a gentle kiss, lingering a bit before pulling away slightly. “Hopefully, that gives you an idea. And if you still don’t know, I’ll be very sad,” he mumbled against her lips, stealing a second kiss from her before standing upright again. Looking over to the couch, he motioned to it with his head and took her hand in his, heading over to it. Dragging her down gently beside him, he slumped further down on the couch, trying to get comfortable. “So, were you with your brother?” he asked her, staring at her hand that was still entwined with his. Absentmindedly, TJ ran his fingers over the palm of her hand as his dark eyes drifted back up to her face. It wasn’t that TJ was afraid of Molly’s brother, Tristan, he was just… intimidated. A little bit. For someone who was in a band with and was even friends with Samuel Delancey, they were both different people. Though, he probably is a nice guy, but Molly is the only one who sees him like that. Seeing as how they’re brother and sister after all. It’s just a little intimidating since Tristan is really protective over her like any older brother. Like, TJ’s was with him. So, he kind of understands that but he can’t help but feel like he’ll get beat up at some point or something. Molly assured him that wouldn’t happen and he’ll just take her word for it.
Only now just noticing that it was still pretty dark in the bus, TJ looked to his right and tried reaching for the light switch from where he was seated. He really had been hanging out with Molly too long if he was too lazy at the moment to get up and flip the switch upward. Inching further toward it, practically the entire upper half of his body was hanging off the couch until he finally was able to reach it with the tip of his index finger. Settling himself back down into the couch, that area of the bus now illuminated, he took a breath and glanced over at Molly, who had more than likely stared in amusement at his efforts. “Couldn’t reach it…” he mumbled, staring down at his hands stupidly. Why was he acting so shy around her? It didn’t make sense. At all. Maybe it could be because they were alone on the bus. But, that couldn’t be it. If that was why then he should get over that. There’d be many times where they would be alone on the bus or anywhere in general, he should get used to it now. Biting his lip again, he reached over, searching for Molly’s hand again without even looking. His hand grazed against hers and he took it in his own again. Pulling her slightly closer to him, he resumed tracing shapes into the palm of her hand. He knew that Molly didn’t want to be one of those sickeningly cute couples, he got that. But sometimes, they would each do little things that were sickeningly cute and this would be one of them. Hopefully, it was okay for TJ to do so.
Leaning slightly against her, he put his mouth near her ear again. “Pssssst,” he whispered, a crooked smile on his face. Yeah, TJ knew he could be annoying at times but he didn’t really care. The only person that seemed to point it out all the time would be Jesse. “Guess what, Molly?” Again, with the guessing games. He really could be such a little kid sometimes. “Molly Molly oxen free, guess whaaat?” he whispered again in a singsong voice, watching her hair move slightly due to him talking so close. He ran his thumb over her fingers and dropped his head to her shoulder, some of his dark hair falling into his vision. With his free hand, he reached up and pushed it away before looking up at Molly with his puppy dog eyes and a soft smile. “I really, really like you,” he told her, lifting his head up and leaning over her to kiss the corner of her mouth. It was already pretty clear how much they both liked the other. But, was TJ, like, in love with her? He.. wasn’t really sure. Point was, they were together right now. From that point on he can be as patient as he wants. Maybe feed off of Molly’s patience that she keeps saying she has. “Hey, uh,” he started, turning to her, “that thing you were saying, about having wings and all that. Well, I didn’t get to tell you that I was sorry for being inappropriate.” He felt stupid about that. He knew she was just joking about the wing thing anyway, but he hadn’t caught on to the fact that he was being pretty crude. “I didn’t mean to be.”
They didn’t have a set until tomorrow but he was pretty sure he wasn’t going to be sleeping too much. The two of them together, they’ll talk for hours on end, resulting in them both not getting enough sleep. But it was okay. Tugging on her hand to get her attention, he pointed with his free hand in the direction of the bunks. “Wanna go harass people over the internet?” he asked, nodding his head ‘yes’, basically telling her they were going to anyway. Getting up from the couch, he held his other hand out to her for her to grab hold of and pulled her up, nearly into him with how quickly he pulled her. But of course, TJ being the oblivious one he always is, didn’t notice and continued the way to his bunk. Crawling in he pulled his laptop to him and lay down, his head hitting the back of his bunk. He patted to the spot next to him and smiled at Molly, waiting for her to lay next to him. Setting the laptop on his stomach, the light from the laptop’s screen illuminated his bunk again, most likely making his face seem blue. “Okay, who do you wanna bother? Jesse?” That was always his first suggestion and he grinned before looking back at her. “Or, you know…” he started, “we can do something else, if you want…” He was being very wary about not coming off as inappropriate or something. That’s not what he had in mind at all, and he hoped Molly got that. He decided that he really needed to work on not being so oblivious anymore. It was starting to bother him.
“Okay, so I’m really oblivious and apparently dirty, so I’m just going to stop talking now,” he said, somewhat scolding himself as he stared at the screen of his laptop. His index finger tapping the side of it, irritated with himself. For all he knew, he was probably overreacting. But there you go, he’s oblivious. If he’s overreacting, he doesn’t know that either. He’s also pretty paranoid about it now and that would add to it. A frown on his face now, he wasn’t really sure what to say to the girl beside him. Closing his eyes, he leaned his head back, too fast apparently and he hit his head. “Fuck,” he swore, holding his hand to his head in mild pain. “Go ahead. Laugh. I know you want to and I won’t get mad,” he assured her, taking another breath as he tried to regulate a now forming headache from his own stupidity.

they'll try to, oh if only they know they'll never come close to you. She liked how it felt to have him hug her, lame as that sounds. But, with those long arms of his, he was good at it. So, she smiled just a bit more. Genuine as genuine could get. She watched, too. Eyes bright and wide. Kind of like a little kid getting one of those perfect attendence trophies in elementary school. You know, back in that age when those meant the world to school kids. She was watchful, took in as much as she could see through the dark. She barely caught the uncertainty in his face. True, she was usually the one doing the kissing if she had the time to think that over. He was usually asking for one or doing something that she had no reaction but to kiss him in return. She couldn't help it, really. She was just a little clingy and she probably had a little too much love to give, but since when was that a bad thing? Anyways. Molly obviously didn't have the time to think that all, but she did almost go in for the kiss herself. Almost, but she stopped as she saw his head start to bow. Oh, see? He'd do it. It just took time. She should have never come close to kind of doubting him. No harm in meeting him halfway, though. Carefully as to not bump into him, Molly stood as high as her tiptoes could take her and brought a hand to his shoulder for a little support. You know, easier on him that way. A tingling sensation crawled down into her stomach once the little space that remained between them closed, much like taking your first sip of alcohol. But better, of course. In her opinion. It'd never get old, either. Only wear off until they continued, and then shoot off to being the same the next day. His comment made her smile again, along with how his lips fought to move against her's as he spoke. One more kiss and his head shrunk away, leaving Molly to stand there smiling like a fool. A happy one, though. She probably could have stood like that for at least an hour or so. Evidently not TJ, though. A tug on her hand told her that he wanted to move and she followed him until they ended up side-by-side on the couch.
"Yeah." Molly nodded, allowing the couch to pretty much consume her. Slouching was her usual posture, of course. The only time she made an effort to look bright-eyed and ready for action was for the poblic. Behind closed doors, her spine was curved and she was practically laying down, depending on what it was that she was sitting on. So, while TJ was slumped down, Molly's head reached somewhere around the area of his chest and nuzzled right on in. "He owes me at least half of a box of strawberry Poptarts. Cleaned out our entire stash." She frowned, focusing on how his fingers danced across her hand. There really wasn't much to say about her brother. At least, not yet. She needed to get them in the same room, while she was present of course. She had no idea of how Tristan felt about TJ and vice versa. Tristan usually had that whole "no one deserves my sister", protective kind of mentality. Then again, he didn't really know TJ. She shrugged it off, deciding to talk about that some other time. Only if it was brought up, though. Molly shifted a little, looking up and over towards TJ. Offering him sort of a sympathetic look, really, as she grabbed his fingers. "Y'know. Tristan."
And then she was, well, almost falling over. TJ was moving, which confused Molly entirely. So she first looked at him, puzzled. Then as she followed his hand that was feebly reaching towards the lightswitch. She was up now, too. Sitting just like a normal human being should. Her legs were crossed on the couch and she looked much like a little kid again, eyes glued to him. Just to see if he'd make it or not. Of course, he did, and when he turned back she met him with a wide grin. Clearly amused with his efforts. And when he explained himself, she laughed a little. He'd been acting differently as of lately. Ever since they'd had their little moment. There was the obvious, they were dating, after all. But of the relationships she'd been in in the past, no one had really acted much like him. And, come to think of it, he was acting a lot like she did. A little clumsy. A little quiet. Only when it was the two of them, though. She'd never really seen the shy side of TJ before. She watched as his hand reached her way and decided to help him with an open hand and then loosely intertwined fingers. Molly moved closer, deciding to stay seated the way she was, so that their shoulders barely touched now. There wasn't much to it after that. She watched as his fingers continued their little dance across her palm, resisting the urge to catch them again. On this side of it all, this really was cute. She liked spending time with him, doing absolutely nothing. She'd consider it a highlight of her day. Just like his little guessing games. She loved those, and she was pretty sure that she was the only one. Anyways, he was at it again, this time with his head on her shoulder. Molly smiled, just as she usually did. "Hm?" He really was cute, and she really did think so. And, honestly, she wondered why it took so long for them to get like this. Well, she knew. But you get the point. If this was what she was missing that whole time, the only thing Molly really regretted was not telling him. She reached her free hand up to move his head, ever so slightly so she could fully kiss him. Just a quick little peck on his bottom lip and she bumped his nose with her's. Then she pulled away, biting her lip as she smiled.
To be honest, she liked how polite he was, too. He was always apologizing and asking her if it was okay if he did something. It seemed that he never meant to invade her privacy or comfort zone. She liked that. It was so completely different to every other experience she had. And, to be honest, it was refreshing. He wasn't cocky or full of himself or, you know, stereotypical boy. The kind that most guys were compared to. She could listen to everything he'd say to her, take in every word. And Molly knew he meant it. "It's fine, TJ." She squeezed his hand. "You didn't mean it. And, I'm pretty sure I've heard worse." Next thing she knew, he was pointing towards the bunks, saying something about the internet. She didn't catch it all, but she was all for laying down and relaxation. So she let him pull her up and followed him closely through a small hallway towards his bunk. First he crawled in and situated himself. Once that was all done, she ducked in and worked on cozying herself into a spot. Really, it wasn't that hard. But she wasn't too sure if she felt like talking to people over the internet at the moment. She was fine with what they were doing before. "Whatever's fine with me. Whatever you want to do. I'm fine with talking."
Molly watched him, waiting for a reply. Instead she got his bit of what was half directed towards her, half scolding himself. To be honest, she hadn't caught any apparent innuendos until he brought it up. Then she thought it was a little funny. She brought a hand to his should, still sitting almost upright with her head ducked down, to comfort him. But his eyes closed, and he brought his head back in what seemed like frustration. A loud thud, and her instinct was to gasp. Not too loud, though. It was just a little bump, with a loud sound. She held back her laughter, which would have been her first reaction, by taking a nice bite into her lip. Over? Past it. Molly leaned forward, carefully smoothing his hair and taking her head into her hands. "Calm down. It's fine. You're not as perverted as you think you are." She said soothingly, kissing as close to the back of his head as she could, then his temple. A bit more playing with his hair, and she gave him the warmest smile she could make. It wasn't nessicary for him to freak out so much, she just wanted to make sure he knew that.

After their greeting to one another, which left Molly basically speechless, they were both situated on the couch. If anyone knew Molly, they’d know that she can’t stay standing for more than five minutes without sitting on something. After they play their sets everyday, on the way back to the bus TJ will hear her whining for a piggyback ride because she doesn’t want to walk anymore. Of course, since she’s so damn cute, TJ lets her. Right now, wasn’t any different really. The very moment TJ slumped down into the couch, Molly followed suit, snuggling into his chest. Smiling, he ran a hand over her hair. “How dare he!” TJ played along even adding in a gasp for effect. He knew how much she loved those things, and not gonna lie, but she got TJ into wanting them all the time now, too. But no where near as much as her or her brother. Her brother. TJ didn’t really know Tristan. At all. I mean, he knows what he looks like because he’s seen her talk to him from afar. But that was really it. “So, is that all you talked about?” he asked, his eyes focused on the far end of the bus but he looked down in time to see Molly grab his fingers. “Or, you know. We don’t have to talk about that,” he added, moving his gaze back up at her. Smiling like he always does whenever he looks at her, this time wasn't any different. Her bangs were messed up and he grinned at how cute she was. Reaching a hand over, he brushed it out of her eyes.
Since TJ had his moment of massive obliviousness with the whole ‘Molly has wings’ thing, he’s been kind of on the shy side. Especially when they’re alone. So, he keeps acting really odd and doing things at random. Like, he’s never stopping. He just keeps going and going and doesn’t slow down. Because if he does, he’s afraid he’ll blurt something else out that’s even worse than what he was getting at unknowingly before. But he’s really trying to calm down. At least a little or he’ll go crazy with the overreacting. Which is why he went to reach for her hand again and he smirked when he found it. It just felt right, her hand in his. And it was the first move to help calm him down if only a little bit. He went back to tracing shapes into her palm and when he shifted, his shoulder grazed hers. They would do this all night, just sitting around doing nothing. Talking about anything that came to mind. It was a part of the day that TJ couldn’t wait for. “Yup. TJ likes youu,” he mused again, letting her move his head a bit for access to kiss him quickly. A nose bump later, he looked at her with a goofy grin. “Your turn!” he said, excitedly. He loved his little guessing games way too much. He couldn’t remember how they started but he’s usually the one most known for screaming ‘guess what?’ at random, and anywhere. It’s kind of like his hello now.
Sometimes he thought he was a little too polite for his own good. It almost seemed like there was an apology falling out of his mouth every second. But that was just him being who he was and no one can help that. It doesn’t seem to bother Molly either, him being so polite all the time. Actually, she seems to really like that about him. TJ just wants to treat her right, as cliché as that may be, he does. He cares too much about her to be any differently around her. “Okay, well. I’ll try not to let it happen again,” he assured her, leaning in to give her a small kiss. He’ll try not to let it happen again not only for her, but for him, too. He hates when he throws out those innuendos without even knowing it and then either catching onto them himself or having someone else point it out for him. He’d rather just avoid that completely if he could help it. When they switched to his bunk, it was much darker than out on the couch. TJ had to let his eyes readjust to the change in lighting and could just make out the outline of Molly climbing in after him. He had noticed the look on her face when he reached for his laptop. Something about it told him that she didn’t want to do that. But instead of just obliging and putting it down, he spit out that innuendo. Yeah, without realizing it. This time he caught it himself, and it irritated him. Then he just got all stupid which resulted in him smacking his head, only embarrassing himself now. And he watched his girlfriend scurry over to him, most likely choking back a laugh and then pain split through his head.
The now forming headache that started at the back of his skull had crept up near his forehead and he squinted his eyes, nearly shut, in pain. Though, the feeling of warm lips at the back of his head and trailing over to his temple helped it start to subside a little. Her soothing words reached him along with the hand running through his hair, and TJ just let out a heavy sigh, somewhat trying to relieve the rest of the throbbing pain to his head and also to calm him down. Maybe he was overreacting. There was no reason for him to flip out so much over apparently something that he’s not. But he can’t help but be a little paranoid about it. He doesn’t want to say the wrong thing around her that may get her upset or angry and give her a reason to not want to be with him anymore. He was just being a little too careful, but that’s who he is. He just can’t help it. With a nod of his head, he forced a smile at her, still not convinced but he was getting there. Closing his laptop, he kicked it down toward the end of the bunk. Obviously, he didn’t kick it that hard or he’d be pretty pissed with himself if it was damaged. Then he shifted a little bit so his back was against the pillow and he reached for Molly, grabbing her by the waist and pulling her into his lap. They did this a lot, the sitting on each other thing. But since he’s decided that he’s too big to be sitting on her anymore, it’s the other way around. He doesn’t want to crush her – that would be bad. “Alright, I’m calm,” he told her, throwing her a grin. “Maybe I’m just thinking too much,” he added, brushing a hand gently over Molly’s neck and his eyes fixated on it. “But, if you say so.” He wrapped both arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him, kissing the corner of her mouth.
Again, TJ loved just hanging around with Molly. Doing nothing, talking, whatever. Though, Molly’s laziness definitely is starting to rub off on him, he doesn’t mind if this is how he spends his time from now on. It’s a nice getaway from all the work that TJ has been taking his time into doing these days. Since things with his brother, he’s kind of just been busying himself with other things so he wouldn’t have to think about it. Distractions, you know. Molly was the good kind of distraction. If he finds himself thinking about things back home, he’ll look at her and he’s good. Sappy? Whatever. Besides, hanging around doing nothing with his girlfriend was so much better than running around and working all the time. He smiled down at her, and held his hands up, pressing his palms together with hers and lacing their fingers together once more. “I like holding your hand,” he told her, sweetly and leaning closer to press his forehead against hers. "Hi," he greeted, almost letting out a small laugh at the small distance between them. Yeah, they were pretty cute. “Oh, and guess what? You’re my favorite person ever,” he whispered to her, not even giving her a chance to actually guess. But, it was the truth and even she knew that everything that he had ever said, he meant.

they'll try to, oh if only they know they'll never come close to you. Even though she was on tour with her band now, and even though she had lots to do, you could usually find Molly lounging around somewhere in some way. Of course, she loved meeting her fans and hearing what they had to say. She loved talking to as many people as she could. Rhe could be as happy and bubbly as she wanted, and she wouldn't have to worry about annoying anyone, because they loved that. Fans. They tended to not give a shit about what she did or said, as long as it was out in public, around them. It was all fun, but, at the end of the day, this was her favorite thing to do. Unwind. Chill. All in the company of a bandmate or two. Molly preferred to sit around, lay around, whatever around, over actually going somewhere and doing something. So, really, this was right up her alley. She'd cuddle with TJ over partying any day of the week. "I know, right? Criminal." Molly let out a short laugh, a giggle of some sorts, and then quietly took in a deep breath to sigh. Oh course, she got a nice, big whiff of whatever it was that he used to clean himself and to stay nice and fresh. It was good. Relaxing, now. And if she concentrated on that, there was a chance that she could get by anything that was bothering her. Like talking about her brother, at the moment. "Um, pretty much." That was all, honestly. TJ hadn't been brought up in conversation between the two siblings since she told Tristan that she was currently dating someone. Molly unburied her face and waited for him to look at her again. Smiled when he did and even more so when he fixed her hair. He was understanding, and she liked that even more.
The guessing games were a little weird, she'd admit that. And at first, when they'd first met way back in the day, they really, really annoyed her. Really. But she didn't tell him. She figured he'd understand when she'd stop guessing. Sometimes she'd go along with them, other times she'd try to ignore them or quickly change the subject. That didn't work. God, it never worked. TJ was intent on his guessing games. That was just TJ. A few years later, and she'd grown used to it all. She knew that he was persistant. She didn't think twice about them, either. Besides, sometimes they were useful. It was a one in ten chance or something, but there was still that chance. Anyways. Now, they were just as natural to her as breathing. "Oh, well. Guess what?" Molly grinned back to him, stopping his hand and placing each finger in its appropriate place between his one at a time and then squeezing his palm. "I totally like you too!" Dorks.
The fact that she didn't know a single person like TJ had its ups and downs. They were more or less mostly perks. His politeness absolutely killed her. He was always looking out for her. Well, ususally looking out for her. He asked if things were okay for him to do. And other times it was as though he couldn't find it in himself to say no. Molly almost had the nerve to wake him up in the middle of the night to talk him into going out to buy her a few tacos from Taco Bell. She'd thought about doing it once or twice, but it was only a thought. Maybe just to test him, but she wouldn't. Overall he was just... nice. In general. TJ was a nice person. Exactly the kind of person she'd want to spend her time with, which was why they were friends in the first place. But then, other times, it was a little odd. Almost as though he was scared of screwing up. Molly wasn't sure of how he would, or even if he could. But he was so cautious around her now. Nervous, maybe a little. He freaked out over small things he didn't mean to say, for a prime example. Which, you know, she didn't really see as a problem. Who doesn't spit out the wrong words every now and then? On the couch as he apologized, and then again while they were in the bunk. It just made her feel a little weird. Maybe awkward, but only because he felt that way too.
TJ needed to calm down. Chill out. Relax. As soon as he got over this shot of pain from an over reaction, Molly would help him with that somehow. She smoothed down his hair a little more, ran her fingers lightly through the hair on backside of his head. On hand found rest right behind his ear, while the other took a trail under his other ear, over his jawline and then stopped at his chin and then both hands dropped away. She only smiled to him, that's what he needed right now. And, sure, he smiled to her. But it was wasn't a full-blown one. She knew what those looked like. At least he was closing the laptop. Molly had a small gut feeling that if they talked to or about Jesse, he'd get worked up again. Which, of course, was understandable. They were both kind of on the same boat with Jesse. Actually, the rest of the band may be on this boat as well, flipping some burgers and chilling with T-Pain. But there was a certain ex girlfriend that no one seemed to be all that fond of, but she continued to pop up every now and then. Or a lot. On his phone. Molly didn't want that to ruin anything tonight, though. There was a time and place to talk about Kristin. Right now wasn't it.
Next thing Molly knew, TJ was pulling her onto his lap. He'd cleared the area, situated himself so he wouldn't hit anymore heads. To be honest, she was relieved that he wasn't trying to sit on her anymore. That ususally didn't work as well. "Good. I'm glad." And she was. Molly prefered him to be calm and happy. Obviously. He was just that much better to be around then. "You are thinking too much, TJ." She agreed, closing her eyes as she felt his hand warm against her neck. Lightly. Gently. Barely there to give her a slight chill down her spine. And then, another kiss on the corner of her mouth. Her eyes opened as soon as she could no longer feel his breath against her skin. "You shouldn't second guess yourself so much. You're doing just fine." Molly smiled softly, looking him straight in his eyes to give it a little more meaning.
Molly felt a bit of accomplishment as of recently. In the past few days, you know. Not only did she have a boyfriend, but she found a way to make TJ get his undies out of a knot. He was starting to relax. He wasn't going going going, twenty-four-seven. TJ took the time to smeel those damn roses now, just like Molly. She was happy. He was happy. She was thrilled. That was one of the things she'd been aiming for in the first place, a happier TJ. He'd been through a lot, seen a lot, all in very recent years. Obviously. A break from that all was exactly what he needed. She wanted to help. Molly liked to see him smile so much, anyways. She liked that he was so sappy about it all, to be honest. Secretly, down deep. She liked that sometimes he acted to cute it made her stomach turn a little. Not on the outside. On the outside she wanted him to keep that for private times like this so no one would make obnoxious comments about them. On the inside she wanted them to keep coming. "Hey." Molly replied, her reaction much the same as his. A laugh and a goofy grin. God, they were hopeless. "Best friend." She told him, definitely. A second to move her head and kiss the very tip of his nose, and then she was back to being forehead-to-forehead, sporting another ridiculous grin on her face. Yeah, she liked that.
