;;kill the lights;; 'T H E S E C H I L D R E N L E A R N F R O M' cigarette burns "I'll have a...a..." Seb squinted his eyes and perched himself higher up the bar to see the array of drinks all lined up perfectly behind the counter. Tilting his head and licking his lips, he said "A fuzzy shark please." Grinning, Seb watched as the bartender's face all but lit up. It really wasn't that surprising considering it was one of the most fun cocktails to make for them and was even less surprising that it was Seb getting it. The man barely weighed in at 120 lbs and so couldn't really hold his drink that well, at least not when it was in comparison to anyone else. Suitably, this drink would probably make him even more drunk then he already was. Seb held onto the bar with his fingers to keep him upright, although the amount of bodied surrounding him would probably keep him up anyway. It was one of the most busiest clubs probably in the whole of America, particularly in Las Vegas. It was the one everyone at school talked about and dreamed of going to for you had to generally have some sort of backing behind your name to get within a few metres of the place. Of course, if you paid right that also helped matters. Seb watched amusedly as the tender prepared the blue drink, buzzing at just being able to enjoy the drink. Admittedly the club didn't play his favourite music, nor did he really blend in with the people; (did he ever?) but it was still the best around and there was only one thing Seb really intended on doing and that was to get drunk. Very drunk. Seemingly all of his plans had consisted of getting drunk recently but then why shouldn't he? He was in his very very early 20's after all.
Grinning as the drink was placed quickly in front of him, Seb was practically bouncing on the spot and using both of his hands, he picked up the glance and took a gulp quickly so it wouldn't spill when he carried it back to the table where the other guys were. Paying and turning, Seb leant back against the bar to look out over the dance floor. The place was pretty much full now and the amount of people taking up the dance floor would normally disorientate him a bit, if he didn't have so much alcohol in his body that is. Seb had DJ'd here once when they had asked him to. That had gone down well and had been one of his proudest moments... especially as it was his home town. Even though it hadn't been his own type of music, Seb knew what made people happy and had managed to play some pretty amazing tunes... even managing to throw in one of their own to the mix. Hey, selfish promotion was good sometimes. Problem was, Seb had been limited to only one drink and when the news got out about Divide By Zero doing the set, the club had been bombarded with some under-age people trying to get in. Sebastian had just been more annoyed at the fact he could only have one drink; especially when everyone else were clearly drunk. As soon as the set had finished though, Seb couldn't remember much of the night after that. Pushing himself off the barrier, Seb walked closer to the edge of the bar balcony and leaned against the small barrier that separated the bar from the dance floor.
"Seb!" Dropping his gaze to the dance floor about a foot beneath him, he smirked and brought one hand off his drink to shake the hand of one of his school friends. "Long time no see." Seb had to shout above the noise of the music but he got the point anyway. Another shake of the hand and the other guy was pushed along by an injection of more people walking onto the dance floor. Seb lifted a hand and gave a wave to accompany his grin as it was returned before the guy disappeared into the crowd. Taking another gulp of his drink, Seb glanced at the blue liquid. The stuff went down way too easily, especially considering the alcohol percent in the glass. Never mind. Chewing his lip, Seb held onto the barrier as he crossed the path, dodging around people talking and clearly getting ready to dance or sway to the music. Finding their table again, Seb grinned at who was sat there and gestured with his drink before slumping into his seat; successfully not spilling his drink over everyone. "You girls miss me?" He spoke with a smile and brought a leg up to rest on the seat before tucking it underneath him. The only thing Seb had with clubs was the unfortunate dress code that everyone, no matter who they were, had to comply with. Whilst it was pretty lax and normal for most people, it meant Seb had to change a bit which he was never best pleased about anyway. Still, he still managed to make it clear that Seb was without a doubt not the usual clothes kind of guy. Truthfully, he didn't have to change too radically except toning down some of the colours but he could still wear a waistcoat and a scarf if he wanted. Tonight though, Seb had done without the scarf... considering how hot it was outside and how hot it would therefore be in a packed out club.

we need guidance, we've been misleadY O U N G A N D H O S T I L E B U T N O T S T U P I D No one could accuse Alek of being a lush. He loved to get out and party, to enjoy the company of random strangers as he got wasted and high. He liked to live life without having any cares, but while still maintaining at least a little sanity and control. Or at least, as much sanity as you could have in a place like Vegas. Born and raised in the city of sin, Alek had always been a "bad boy." He'd been drinking alcohol since he was in eight grade, had been smoking weed since he was a freshman in high school, and he'd lost his virginity that same year. Oh, he definitely liked to be around people when he was fucked up off of his ass, mostly because he was a crazy woman-obsessed drunk and would hit on anyone with boobs, no matter what they looked like. Sure, there was that little issue of his secret girlfriend, but she wouldn't have sex with him so why should he bother? He had to get action somehow, right? And besides, tonight she was stuck mending a broken relationship with her brother, so there was no point in even trying to hang out with her -- that would most likely end up in a broken nose or in castration, maybe even both. Having a girlfriend with an over protective older brother was not exactly the most awesome thing in the world, but she was worth it for the most part.
Tonight, he was going out with the guys. Or at least, meeting up with them at the club that he had wished to get into when he was way younger, but couldn't because his fake ID was shit and it was just so much easier to go to house parties instead. However, now that he was famous, anything could happen. He spent hardly any time at all getting ready -- he just messed with his hair a little, made sure his black v-neck t-shirt didn't smell bad and put on clean skinny jeans, after he accidentally spilled red bull on the ones he was wearing earlier. He slipped on teal vans and headed out the tour bus door, hitting ignore on his cell phone as his parents tried calling him yet again. Yeah, so the tour had started off in Vegas, his home town, but that didn't mean that he wanted to go -home- home. He still hated his parents, and he still was going to ignore them every time they tried to connect. They didn't even approve of his life style, so why were they even trying? Oh well, all the more reason to get totally fucking wasted tonight. He could forget about his problems with his parents, his problems with his girlfriend's brother, and his problems with not getting laid by the girl he loved for the past year. He caught a cab -- no way was he hoofing it, that would just be insane -- and showed up outside the Pure Nightclub about half an hour later, after venturing into the city and weaving around casinos that were the size of castles. True, he would miss this place while they were out exploring the U.S., but not that much.
He showed up and cut in line -- hey, most of the chicks in line recognized him, and they were more than happy to let him in. The bouncer gave him a strange look but let him in anyways; hell, he wouldn't even need a fake ID tonight! He entered the club and immediately his ear drums were harassed by music that he wasn't too fond of, but the slutty girls all around totally made up for it. His first stop was the bar -- he opted for straight shots of vodka, not being the type of guy to want to get drunk slowly. It took quite a bit of alcohol to get him buzzed, let alone stumbling and forgetting chunks of the night, but if he managed to get there fast enough, it wasn't too tricky. Four vodka shots and two jello shots (god, those things were delicious) later, Alek remembered that he had come here for a reason, to meet up with his friends too. He said goodbye to the girls next to him, friends who looked to be having a competition to see who could bed him first, and stood to look around at the tables and crowds in front of him -- he stumbled a bit, but caught his balance just as he saw Sebastian Bellamy chatting it up with a bunch of ladies, all probably hitting on him like crazy. Oh, there were some insane perks to being in a band, and this night right here was definitely one of them. Babes, booze, and bad music... who wouldn't want a night like this every night?
Alek made his way over to his friend and fellow band mate, shooing a girl out of the way so that he could sit next to the other boy. "Sebbbbbastian Bellamy, you sly dog." He said with a sly smirk, glancing around at the girls around him. There were quite a few gorgeous ones, along with a few who were pretty plain but obviously used push up bras to make up for that fact. It was no surprise that Seb got a bunch of the attention around here -- he gave off the shy musician vibe, something that most girls he knew would pine over for hours and hours. Plus, he'd heard girls talking about how attractive he was, not like Alek would be able to agree or disagree -- the boy was completely straight, despite what you may have heard based off of his hair. Really, why did the emo hair style automatically make people think you wanted to kiss other guys? Anyways. "I'm astounded at how well you do around here." He said in all honesty -- the boy was a wonder. Alek fumbled with his phone and sent a drunk text to Arielle -- telling her that he wouldn't be home until late that night, boys nights often took quite a while, and then turned back to his friend and his company. Oh, perks of having a secret girlfriend? You could hit on other chicks without getting slapped. "Your friends are gorgeous too." He slurred, tapping his foot on the floor anxiously.

;;kill the lights;; 'T H E S E C H I L D R E N L E A R N F R O M' cigarette burns When Seb had sat down at the table earlier, there had been maybe one or two girls there with him, asking if they could sit with and chat. Admittedly, at first, Seb had thought that it was because of all the other tables taken up but as soon as the guitarist had seen how they were all looking him, the reason really did become clear. Still, not that Seb would mind. He didn't really have any ties to any girls or he supposed in his case; boys too, so he was fully entitled to have a bit of fun. Especially when the lightweight had already had some alcohol in him. When he returned from the bar, as he did now, Seb didn't fail to notice that a few more women had joined them, not that he minded at all. They would be able to make some new friends too, or that's what he told himself anyway. With his leg now tucked more comfortably underneath him, he laid one arm across the back of the sofa like seat, behind the rather stunning women beside him. His other hand was free so he could take sips of his drink without hassle. Sebastian barely reacted when her own arm lay across his stomach. Truthfully, Seb wasn't a fan of easy girls but it was harmless for now so it didn't irk him. The music was loud but the table was truly in the perfect position considering that they were still very much part of the club, but the noise was low enough that conversation was easy to come by. No-one had to shout too loud just to get their point across.
Seb took another large gulp from his drink, his eyes on one girl across the table speaking to him. He had good manners, despite his peculiar situation at home, and would always do his best to listen to someone, especially a lady, when they were telling him something. Seb's head tilted a little when she suddenly stopped and her jaw stayed open, her green eyes drifting to the side of Seb who looked at what had changed her attention. Alek Hudson. Seb grinned happily and shimmied across the chair a bit, budging the girl with him to make more room for the bassist. The girl that had sat on his other side was moved so that his friend could sit down and Seb just laughed when he was addressed. Removing his one arm from behind the girl, Seb put his other around his friend in the best hug he could give in these surroundings. "Good morning, Alek." Seb said in his usual voice, which just happened to be slightly drunk. He loved being in Divide By Zero more then anything else in the world. Not only were the members a laugh off stage, but on stage too. Each of them were so different but they seemed to work really well, and their stage antics were known all over but at least the fans got their money worth in the show. The music they made also meant they could have a bit of a jump around when it became compulsory to do so. Seb also enjoyed the fact that he played guitar in the band. It meant that he had the chance to walk around, within reason of course, and get close to the fans. Seb would always be one of the first to greet the fans. He was too immensely grateful that they enjoyed the music they created. It was no secret that Divide By Zero gained the most fan girls but it honestly did not bother him because any fans were good fans and they were dedicated. Sometimes a little crazy too.
"You should never underestimate my wonder." Seb said with a smirk, also acknowledging the women around them both now. Leaning to Alek, he whispered to him "This is when you're grateful you're in a band, you know?" His eyes dropped from his friend only briefly when the girl rested her hand on his stomach under his shirt. If sober, Seb would have stood and walked off right then for both the reason that it would make the slightly innocent guitarist uncomfortable in front of his friend and because those few that knew him inside and out knew how self concious he was of his body. Sebastian knew he was a stick, that had not escaped him since before he was even a teenager and despite eating as much as an elephant during the day, he still did not put on any weight at all. The amount would make anyone else pretty much obese but Seb's metabolism was crazy; even though it took hardly anything to get the boy drunk. Seb watched Alek get his phone out and so turned his attention back to the girl currently all but groping him and sent her a small smirk which translated to her apparently as make out. Even as it happened, it still made Seb feel bad deep down. He hadn't been a stranger to love, no reference intentional, since he had fallen pretty damn hard for one girl he knew since he was young. Still, Seb hadn't seen her in forever and last he heard, she was engaged to his ex-best friend. Seb broke away as soon as he heard Alek speaking and again glanced around the table where they were all speaking animatedly. "Don't hold back on my account. Jude might be here later, anyway." Seb spoke happily, noticing some of them edging toward the bassist after his words.
"So are you looking forward to the tour?" Seb asked when a couple of things had calmed down and he had stopped the light touch on his stomach when she had started to tickle him. Seb was the most ticklish person around and even the slightest touch got him to laugh and squirm away. It had been used against him to many times. "The line-up is pretty awesome. I need to watch some of them play again." Licking his lips and having more of his drink, Seb leant back. "I think we need to come up with some kick-ass show though..." Looking up, Seb considered it. "Maybe I'll dress as batman. That would be funny. And I do like batman." Drunken talk was always amusing and Seb glanced at the girls as they all giggled at what the two musicians were saying. Despite what they say, flattery does get you far in the world. Especially in such a fake world like show business. If he was back in the bus, Seb would no doubt be able to write some crazy lyric or subtle metaphor that they could use in a song. His mind tended to wander off like that.
