When you join, please make your username something simple, like the name of your character or your own name. Don't make it something complicated like 'ilovecows542' or we will ask you do delete that account and create a new one. After you join, make your username your character's full name (first middle last). While we're talking about names, PLEASE PICK SOMETHING NORMAL. Like, seriously, don't name your character something like Barbie or whatever. If a staff member feels like your name is ridiculous we will tell you, and you will be expected to change it. Be reasonable and we can avoid that.
When applying, make sure you format your topic like this; 'LAST, first middle.' Never post an unfinished application, because we will delete it. Post your application in the 'pending' section, please and thank you!

We are a literate site, and we have a word minimum; 600 words per post. Yes, this may look like a lot, but in all honesty it's not that much. When you really get into it, you'll see that 900 isn't even that much! Oh, and of course this only applies to in character threads, not IMs.
No god-modding; that's pretty much a given for all sites, but we just want to reiterate it once more. Never take control of another person's character, unless they give you permission to do so. Even then, it's frowned upon, so just stay away from that in general.
From the day you are accepted, you have two weeks to make an in character post before you are deleted. After that, you must make at least one post every two weeks to keep your character. If you can't handle keeping active, then sorry, but this isn't the site for you. Remember, this post must be a thread, not a tweet or an instant message.
The content rating of this site goes up to M (mature). We accept things of all normal band nature, from drugs, sex, pregnancy, whatever. If you're going to do something too outrageous, please check with a staff member to make sure it's okay. And when you have an "M" thread, make sure you put "M" somewhere at the beginning of the subject title.
• • plotting ,
You may only have one character in a single band. If you make a second character, do not make them one of your own band members or one of your own crew members -- roleplaying with yourself isn't as fun as you might think. There are some exceptions to this, but only a few. Oh, by the way, the secret phrase that you'll need for your application is "sit back."
Please, pick a play by that fits the site. We're trying to stray away from over-picked play bys and Disney actors, so please, if you wish to be plotted with and fit into this site, pick a play by that actually fits with the bands. Also, make sure that you pick an age that actually fits them; having a play by that's actually 28 and saying that they're 18 doesn't really work.
You must have at least 3 in character posts before you can create a new character. We want to make sure that you can handle multiple characters before you make a bunch of them, we hope you understand that. If you can't keep your characters active, we will ask you to delete them or delete them ourselves; either way, just keep your characters active and don't put more on your plate than you can handle please!
• • the c-box ,
Auto-plotting is a big no-no and one of the biggest pet peeves that the administrators all share. If you're crew for a band or a member of a band, do not assume that you have known them since birth; please talk to the people in the band you are applying for about your history if you have an extensive one, or else we'll get a little fussy.
Another biggie is this; plotting does not count as roleplaying. It doesn't happen unless you thread it! We get really annoyed when we see people with massive plot requests but no threads, so please try to keep up with threads and all that.
• • random do-nots ,
The c-box rules are listed above it already, but we might as well reiterate it here; do not spam, do not advertise, do not be annoying, and do not be crude or obnoxious. We will ban you if you do any of these things, because we've experienced these all enough on past sites to not mess around with that. Oh, and the secret phrase is actually "Let's get down to business." Do not cause drama in our c-boxes and do not pester us about getting to accepting or anything like that.
• • graphics ,
Please, do not be annoying. This seems like a stupid rule, but it's kind of important. Do not pester anyone via PM or c-box, do not get upset if someone doesn't want to do a certain plot with you, and please do not complain about our decisions. We get that sometimes you need to complain about your life to someone, but please do it with someone else.
No drama. We do not want any of it. We've had too much of it in the past, and we aren't going to play that game anymore. If you start causing mayhem, we will not be afraid to delete you.
Do not plagiarize at all. We've had experiences with copying in the past and if it happens here, we're really losing all hope, haha. So please, do not take anything without permission (and if you ask for permission and we say no, please don't do it anyways).
• • welcome to a little faster ,
You absolutely, positively must have a signature and avatar. Your signature cannot exceed 450 pixels in width, and your avatar cannot be more than 139x200 pixels. If you stretch our board, you will get a warning; if it's not changed in the next 24 hours, whatever is stretching our board will be deleted, sorry.
If you need help with an avatar or signature, check caution! If they don't have what you're looking for, feel free to ask about it in the graphics claim or even ask a staff member if they're not too busy. We're friendly people, we don't bite. Promise. (:

Anyways, thank you for reading through all of those rules, we appreciate it a lot. We hope you have a good time here and we hope you have a lot of fun! (:
